Selection Criteria

We evaluate candidates based on their ability to stand out in their respective field of activity and their leadership potential in their country. It promotes the diversity of profiles and fields of activity (business world, politics, culture, media, etc)

Criteria specific to select a candidate

– Be of French or Indian nationality
– Be 40 years old maximum
– Have skills in an area of expertise, proven leadership experience and be a person led to play an important role in France or India and in the Franco-India relationship
– Demonstrate strong personal commitment to serving society through exceptional contributions

Criteria related to diversity

We seek:
– A balanced representation of the sectors of activity from which the “Young Leaders” come: politics, administration and the armed forces; business and entrepreneurship, art, media, research and associations.
– Openness and social diversity as well as gender parity

Selection Process

The final selection is done by the Board of Management of the France India Foundation along with the Fondation France-Asie Leadership.
